Who Can Participate

Initially, Jocelyn envisioned this program for her neighbors on the south slope of a hill in Watertown. But the sun knows no street boundaries, so Neighborhood Solar is now open to all residents, businesses, or nonprofits of the participating communities of Belmont, Cambridge, and Watertown. Additionally, if you are in another neighboring community, such as Brookline, Newton or other towns, please contact Jocelyn at neighborhoodsolartoo@gmail.com to determine your eligibility.

Note, if you are a home-owner in a multi-family or multi-unit building, you can still participate in this program. SunBug solar has expertise in installing solar systems in multi-unit residential buildings.

Neighborhood Solar, in partnership with neighboring communities, is offering a limited-time opportunity that ends on October 3, 2019. Depending on weather and participation volume, all installations should be completed by December 2019.
If you have any questions concerning participation, please contact Jocelyn at neighborhoodsolartoo@gmail.com to determine your eligibility.
